I want to thank those of you who have been in our armed forces for your service. Knowing some of you for years now, I know the sacrifice is real and your bodies, hearts, souls, and minds have been worn, wrecked, and warped in your service to this sometimes frustrating yet always wonderful country.

We are a country of people who are not afraid to disagree. Disagree we often do when it comes to times of war. But, let us honor those who go because they are doing what they are ordered to do and they do it with courage and great sacrifice. When they come home, we should show them respect for the risk they have put themselves in to protect our country even if they themselves should disagree with some decisions....they still went forward as ordered. And remember 'Some Gave All'
